We are excited to welcome DeMariye Carpenter to FCI as our new Credit Analyst.
In this role, DeMariye will play an important part in supporting our lending operations and advancing the growth of our portfolio through community and mission-based lending. As a Credit Analyst, he will work closely with our Senior Community Lenders and Portfolio Managers to support thoughtful underwriting, strengthen borrower relationships, and help manage risk through ongoing loan and borrower monitoring. His work will be instrumental in delivering impactful financing solutions that support the communities we serve.
DeMariye joins FCI with a background in business development and operations, where he built strong client relationships, managed accounts, and coordinated logistics solutions in fast-paced environments. Prior to joining FCI, he worked in logistics, overseeing pricing, negotiations, and day-to-day problem-solving to keep business operations running smoothly. Through that experience, he developed a strong attention to detail, a collaborative approach, and a problem-solving mindset that will serve him well in this new role.
He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Illinois State University and is eager to continue growing his skills in underwriting and community development.
