Business Matters: Financial Empowerment Series

On Saturday, December 13, Eric Mazelis, Senior Community Lender at FCI, attended the Business Matters – Financial Empowerment Series. This event was hosted by the Wisconsin SBDC at UW–Milwaukee and Town Bank at America’s Black Holocaust Museum.

The session featured a candid conversation on property ownership with Ray Hill, ML King Drive Executive Director, and Joah Tucker, owner of Dream Lounge on King Drive. It was tailored for entrepreneurs and small business owners seeking clarity on how to acquire property, vet locations, and build long-term assets for their businesses. Participants heard a detailed, educational discussion on the journey through property ownership in both residential and commercial contexts.

The event also featured our own FCI board member, Raynetta Hill, as a panelist.
