Katie serves as Portfolio Manger, an integral part FCI’s lending operations team, of where she is responsible for overseeing FCI’s portfolio of loans and investments, ensuring performance, borrower compliance, and alignment with organizational impact goals. She holds a BA in International Studies and Russian from Macalester College, and an MA in Education from Alverno College. She served as both a Peace Corps Volunteer and a Teach for America Corps Member, and spent the last 10 years teaching middle school English.
Through her wide-ranging experience in the nonprofit sector, Katie has developed a deep passion for creating positive, systemic change in underserved communities. In her free time she enjoys hiking, gardening, and reading.
