Central Wisconsin Community Action Council (CWAC)
FCI provided $278,000 in loan refinancing that allowed CWCAC to make improvements and renovate affordable housing in Wyocena, WI. This project improved the living conditions of residents and ensured the availability of a low-cost living option in this rural community with a population of 768 residents (2010 US Census data).

Southwest Community Action Program, (SWCAP)
Forward Community Investments provided a loan of $246,000 for the purchase and renovation of a building in Dodgeville that enables more than eight nonprofits to collocate and work more closely in serving clients in Iowa County.
Rural Wisconsin Health Cooperative Information Technology Network (RWHC ITN)
FCI provided RWHC ITN with a $1 million loan as the last piece of financing needed to develop and implement a shared health record system that, today, serves Wisconsin’s rural, nonprofit hospitals. The project enabled better patient care, reduced costs and improved the capacity of hospitals and providers in the network.

Omega School
Forward Community Investments provided $215,000 to purchase and remodel a building for Omega School (Madison, WI). The new facility created an accessible learning space for students of all ages and backgrounds to take part in enrichment programs.
Madison Area Community Land Trust (MACLT)
Forward Community Investments provided $650,000 in loans to MACLT for the predevelopment and construction of housing at Troy Gardens (Madison, WI). The project provided 30 units of permanently affordable owner-occupied housing on a five-acre infill parcel of land that includes community gardens and a working CSA farm.
Goodman Community Center (GCC)
Forward Community Investments provided predevelopment funds and New Markets Tax Credit advisory support that helped transform a vacant ironworks factory and neighborhood eyesore into the Goodman Community Center, a community hub and meeting place for thousands of adults and youth. The project increased visibility and space for GCC’s programs and resources, including a gym and fitness center, art rooms, a student-run café, a food pantry and various after-school activities.
Crown Court Properties
Forward Community Investments provided a loan to Crown Court Properties for $125,000 for the predevelopment of 100 units of affordable housing in Manitowoc, Sheboygan and Door Counties: 36 of those units were for elderly housing in Sturgeon Bay and 64 units included family-based housing in Plymouth and Kiel.
AIDS Resource Center of Wisconsin (ARCW)
Forward Community Investments loaned ARCW $500,000 to make leasehold improvements to their medical center that expanded services to people living with HIV disease.
Central Wisconsin Community Action Council (CWCAC)
Forward Community Investments loaned CWCAC $375,000 for the purchase and renovation of a building in Beaver Dam. The project allowed CWAC to increase their services, add affordable housing and expand their food pantry.
