FCI Dollars at Work in Dodgeville
FCI's investment dollars are flowing into the Dodgeville community as work proceeds on a new dental clinic. This project, a partnership between Southwestern Wisconsin Community Action Program (SWCAP) and Access Community Health Centers (ACHC), will make space to increase patient visits by more than 100% to 8,400 patients in 2013. When the building is completed services will be managed by ACHC.
FCI's investment, made in partnership with Partners for the Common Good is financing construction of this 4,100 square foot clinic owned by SWCAP. Constuction is expected to be completed by June 2012.
FCI is excited to be part of this project because is the only access point for free dental care for low-income families in rural Iowa County.
Project Update – February 2012
Dodgeville Dental Clinic Construction is moving along nicely. The contractors removed plastic and scaffolding from front entry in early February and the remaining masonry, exterior sealing of the façade and finish rough-in work on the interior will be complete by the middle of the month. Dry walling is scheduled for the end of February. Good weather has made progress fast and smooth.
