Consultant Directory

Consultant Directory

Running a successful nonprofit requires many kinds of expertise. While we can help you with some of your challenges there are times when another expert would be a better fit.

To assist you, we developed a directory of statewide consultants having a myriad of skills and talents, all with a history of having worked with nonprofits. The consultants are categorized by specific expertise, ranging from strategic planning to marketing to human resources to accounting. You can also choose the geographic area from which you would like to select a consultant.

If you do choose to work with anybody on our list, we invite you to share your experiences with Dennis Johnson, our VP of Advisory Services at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. .

Example of Nonprofit Experience
The Center has 14 years of experience in developing, operating and evaluating programs to strengthen families in the areas of healthy relationship education, teen pregnancy prevention, youth character development and mentoring, fatherhood, workforce development (with particular focus on offender reentry and green jobs) and welfare reform. Through our youth and family services division, the Center provides direct services in the areas of healthy relationships and teen pregnancy prevention. The Center’s nonprofit services division specializes in process and outcome evaluation including data management systems in the areas of teen pregnancy prevention; healthy relationship, marriage and fatherhood education; workforce development, including green jobs; offender reentry; substance abuse treatment programs; and nonprofit capacity building. Through our nonprofit services work, we have supported clients in 84 communities through 23 grants. CFSS also offers services in the areas of strategic planning and nonprofit capacity building and brings a best-practice approach to program development, implementation and evaluation. CFSS leverages the broad experience of its founder, Angela Turner, along with strong staff and contractors to develop evaluation systems and training and technical assistance programs to ensure fidelity at all stages of program implementation. In 2007, the Center partnered with Two Islands Solutions to develop a best-of-breed, web-based data tracking system called the Online Participant Tracking System (OPTS), which is currently used in 18 of our evaluation projects.
